Don't Just Memorise Questions & Answers

IELTS Speaking is not a memory test. It is an English language test. You are not being assessed on your knowledge of the topic, but on how you use the English language to express yourself.

Memorising questions and answers, is generally a waste of time, particularly since the examiners can identify if a candidate is using their own words or ones given to them and rehearsed.

Memorised chunks of speech are a feature of band 2 in Lexical Resource!
